It’s final; we’ve been relocated to DM Days booth #623.
Now that the storm has cleared and the dust has settled we find ourselves at a peaceable resolution. As you may recall from our recent post DM Days Debacle we lost our booth (and the marketing dollars that went toward the promotion of said booth) due a DMA error.
The original make-good proposed by the DMA fell far short of our expectations; however after several choice words and venomous emails; we’ve grown our booth size by 100% (less the giant pillar in the middle of our new space), received a full refund for our ‘07 booth expenses, 50% credit on the ‘08 show deposit and slew of miscellaneous items such as attendee lists and carpet.
Did we come about the good side of the deal? Not really. I just wish I had my old booth back.
It's all good...Now let's focus on making DM Days the event of the year!
